Fort Mill, S.C. (October 29, 2019) – This upscale chophouse is expanding its footprint with a location in Fort Mill.
Epic Chophouse has snagged 5,500 square feet in the Kingsley Town Center mixed-use development, at Exit 85 off Interstate 77. It is expected to open next spring.
“They are a true upscale chophouse, but at affordable prices, so they really complement our other restaurant tenants,” says Kerri Robusto, senior vice president at Clear Springs Development. Robusto leases the property for the landlord.
She notes Epic’s unique and chef-driven offerings made it a fit for the development.
The chophouse delivers USDA-certified Prime and Top Choice meats that are hand selected for marbling and aged a minimum of 35 days for flavor and texture. Seafood, such as lobster tails, jumbo sea scallops and Southern fried shrimp, along with specialties that include slow-roast prime rib and baby back ribs round out the menu.
Epic’s first location opened in Mooresville in 2010.
“They are a staple and a destination in Lake Norman, and we can’t wait for them to be that in Kingsley, too,” Robusto adds.
Representatives for Epic Chophouse did not respond to a request for comment by deadline Tuesday.
Kingsley includes a $101 million commercial component, including office space, a hotel, restaurants and retail.
